Today I’m thankful for family. . Life has taught me over the years that you can never be prepared for tomorrow, that today is a gift and tomorrow isn’t guaranteed. . Timing …Gods timing….none of it I understand at this time and we find as a family over this last month questioning Gods timing but yesterday his timing had my husband and In a position to be there for our family. We spent the day holding Ellie’s hand and being by her side and I tell you , that little one has an amazing testimony ahead of her and God has the most amazing plan for her. We love you Ellie ❤️ . Early yesterday morning our family experienced another tragedy. My sisters mother in law and sister in law passed away in a drunk driving accident. We have posted a go fund me link to our profiles and in our stories but I figured I’d make a post also. Any little bit helps. There are family members still in the hospital and the youngest can really use the prayers . The whole family can, so please please keep the Martinez family in prayer. My sisters In laws are very special to our family, we love them as our own and our hearts are with them during this time. . I believe in miracles, please keep praying for the youngest she is so precious and I’m so thankful to be able to be there and I know God is working through this all. This is your reminder to take all the photos! Seriously, don’t wait , just get in the frame. One day photos will be all you have. . The past few weeks have been a blur. . . I lost my biggest fan…my grandpa. A few weeks back, we lost my cousin, I was very close with him and then days after I lost my grandfather however he was more than a grandfather to me….he was the man that raised me, housed me and showed me a fathers love. My grandparents have always been my best friends. It’s no secret I adored my grandpa, if there was a term grandpas girl I’d proudly wear it. My youngest daughter was the same with my grandpa. Gabby was my grandpas best friend, those two were ice cream buddies and would laugh and play together reminding me of when I was little….she adored him. . About 5 years ago my husbands company moved us back home to Florida and we got to move to Miami where I’m from. During those years we spent a lot of time with my grandparents. Everything I do reminds me of the memories we made with him and my kids. Looking through all the photos for his slideshow, I couldn’t believe how many photos I was blessed to have taken of my grandfather. I have literally been taking their photos for years…they always believed in me and one time almost 10 years ago they did their own photo shoot with me on their property. . My grandpa was a man of integrity as my grandmama says, he was a honorable man. He came to this country as a immigrant and joined the army when they were splitting into army and air force. His favorite story was “when they asked who can type I said me and that’s how I got into the air force”. He was proud of his service to our country. As a immigrant he was a dreamer, he took risk and went after the American dream and he achieved it. We are Ecuadorian, and it’s because of my grandparents that I am bilingual. . . I’m still here …I’ve just been processing it all and taking time with my family to grieve. Thank you to all my clients for the understanding and support, to my friends all over and clients who have shown us love thank you ❤️ . Te extraño bastante mi papito ❤️

Can’t you just feel the love in this photo ❤️. . A huge part of what I love about capturing family’s, is seeing how they love in the moment and one of the only things I request from my clients is to have fun and love on each other ….It really does make a session , wouldn’t you agree?. . You can’t show love yesterday…you can only show love in the moment. Read that again if you need to because it took me a few times to really figure out what that meant for me. My therapist told me that recently and it made me think…am I loving in the moment and how am I loving in the moment? . This is a good question, you see it’s not about your love language or how you want to be loved ….it’s about how you can serve and show love the way others need to receive it . One of my favorite Bible verses is “Let everything you do be done in love” - 1 Corinthians 16:14. . Now most people will be surprised to know that I’m a introvert. However if you’ve had a session with me you’d most likely me surprised to learn that because this is my opportunity to serve my clients and show them love by spending time with them, capturing their memories and making it a memorable experience for them. I truly hope everyone leaves my sessions feeling loved on and appreciated. . So all this to implore you to practice walking in love and showing love in the moment. It’s the little hand holding onto mom for me ❤️. . One of hardest things about being a mom, among many things…is knowing when to let go. Whatever stage of parenthood you are in, enjoy it and take it all in. We have now entered teen years …well their preteens but still you get it. Its a whole new learning experience…almost like watching them learn to walk except this time there’s no child proofing the house but it’s neat when they come to you at this age for help/ advice and let me just say those unexpected bugs ….they melt you ❤️ .
